Your NTSP Trainers

Did you know that nurse trainers are available to support your contraceptive implant service as part of the NTSP? A team of 6 fully-accredited, Faculty-approved nurse trainers offer reactive, non-promotional, tailored training to help you become more confident in implant fitting and removal.

The nurse trainers offer:

  • In-practice or wider-scale education on long-acting reversible contraception
  • 1:1 ongoing post-training support
  • Refresher training and confidence boosts for lapsed fitters or those returning to fitting following a break or practice move, as well as confidence-building in removals, including complex ones
  • Support and guidance for Reaccreditation and the eKA process
  • Training for conversions from local LoC to FSRH LoC
  • Accredited practical training of HCPs to obtain a Faculty Letter of Competence in Sub-Dermal Implant Techniques
